according to Art. 14 General Data Protection Regulation

The protection of personal data is important to us. Therefore, Workmates processes your data in accordance with the provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other legal regulations on the protection of personal data and data security.

This data protection notice contains information about how we process your personal data that was submitted to us as part of the application and placement process and explains how we will handle your personal data during the placement process.

For what purposes is your personal data processed?

Your personal data will only be used to carry out the application or placement process.

In the following cases, the legal basis for data processing is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit a GDPR:

  • We do not collect special categories of personal data (information about racial and ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, trade union membership, genetic or biometric data, health data or sexual orientation data) unless required by law. If you voluntarily provide us with special categories of personal data, you hereby expressly consent to the processing of this data as described in this data protection notice.

Which categories of personal data are processed?

All relevant personal data that has been provided will be processed, such as:

  • Contact details (name, address, telephone number, email addresses, etc.)

  • CV data (information on professional experience, career and training)

  • Evidence (professional references and certificates)

  • General career-relevant information (remuneration, mobility, motivation to change)

  • Sensitive personal data that may be voluntarily disclosed

Who are the recipients of the data?

After consultation, your application documents will be forwarded anonymously to companies that are eligible for your new career. Only after an appointment has been successfully arranged will you be contacted and the data will be disclosed unencrypted at the time of the interview or the placement date. The data is only released to companies that also adhere to the GDPR and observe it closely.


What rights do you have?

Provided the legal requirements are met, you have the following rights:

  • Information about the personal data concerning you

  • Correction or completion of incorrect or incomplete data

  • Deletion of your personal data

  • Restriction of the processing of your personal data

  • Receiving a copy of your personal data in a machine-readable format or transmitting this data to another person responsible for you.

  • To object to the processing of personal data concerning you.

 

Please note that an application or placement is not possible without providing your personal data.
